HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR.

Oh, hi mates! I'm really miss blogging so much tbh but these past months I just don't feel like writing much aside on my full time job as content writer. I'm sorry.

Soooo, this month has been magical. I never thought my birthday this year would be much much better than before #blessed

The excitement is elevating in every level tho, and now it's time to tell you why.

See, since I live alone in Jakarta, most of my weekends are filled with working on my family business' Instagram account or hanging with friends. So earlier this month I realized how much I miss "me time", therefore on Saturday morning I woke up real quick, took a shower, wear a most comfy outfit with tote bag, and start roving around South Jakarta using public transportations.

It was hella fun! You should try it, you know. Just you, your playlist, and go wherever you want.

Next, I celebrated birthday while sleepover at Verine's (left). These two cupcakes and Finley, who wasn't in frame, are my friends since I was junior high back then in Medan. We separated during college and three of us reunited again in Jakarta.

Funny how we separate for four years but the 10+ years friendship still going strong. Love them to the core!

Moving on.
This month happen to has Eid Mubarak long holiday, therefore I sleepover in my cousin's. They invited me to Haidilao and my first experience there was marvelous. The food is 11/10 (not gonna lie, shooo good!) and my cousins surprised me with birthday dancing from the employees.

It was so embarrassing because people are looking at me, but on the other hand I was thrill because they got me. Yeah, they got me good because it was spotless and I didn't expect anything tho.

Note: If we become friend on Instagram, you prolly saw how shocked, happy, and laugh until shed tears I am through my Instagram story.

Lastly and the highlight surprise of the year is the spontaneous road trip.
Yes, I really love road trip especially go to somewhere I can see view like below. Gosh, the memories still flying all over my head and it was really fun tho.

This trip is totally unprepared. The idea of this trip came out from my head three days before I went to Bogor and I packed real quick without booking any hotel. All plans about where to go and sleep are still vague, but that's the most interesting points. The experience is indescribable and for sure I would like to have this kind of road trip again!

Here comes to the end, hopefully this post entertains you and I'm able to write more often on my blog like I used to. Oh yes, this year I plan to travel in several places in Indonesia, so see you on upcoming post about my travel journey!

2-DAY AND 1 NIGHT IN YAMANASHI PERFECTURE

hey mates! can't wait to tell more and more about my experience in Japan. I went to Japan with my cousin, Cindy, I think we a bit crazy because we went there for the first time and only both of us... girls. in this post, I will start writing about my second day in Japan which is in Yamanashi Perfecture and Shizouka. before I write more about the places, I will introduce you to Suica Card and Japan Rail Pass (JR Pass). the reason I want to introduce those is because I found out that it is important for you to know, although some will say that JR Pass isn't quiet helping to make transportation fee cheaper because JR doesn't have so many train for subway or railway. but my case which moving one place to another, I found out this helps a lot. So here is my journey for two-weeks: Tokyo - Yamanashi and Shizouka Perfecture - Kyoto - Osaka - Kobe - Osaka - Tokyo. so yeah, that's why told you JR Pass saved my arse hahah! so nah I will pay so much on transportation tho because the fee around 10,000 yen/trip. Suica card helps a lot too, it is more in term of saving time tho because you just have to tap it instead of wasting time to buy the subway/railway ticket. in plus, in some vending machine, you also can pay using Suica card.

Shizouka Perfecture

I aint stroll around here tho, but if you love shopping you should come to Shizuoka because you can find a Factory Outlet with many brands! I bought Coach wallet in very cheap price tho almost 70% discount! pardon me I forgot to take photo of it but you can google it. find: Gotemba Factory Outlet

Yamanashi Prefecture

This Tatami Airbnb is just too cute! but a bit expensive, because so hard to find Airbnb in Yamanashi Perfecture. The host was sooooo decent, she prepared us a breakfast! salad, soup, salmon, rice and potato. I've written name of her Airbnb, you can find it on Airbnb if you like.

so at night before head to our Airbnb around 9 PM something I guess, it is so quiet even on the street and it's freaking cold. about 1-3 Celsius so we randomly hop into a traditional sushi store. I always love to go into their local store to try their food so, checked!
I found this tiny place is so cute, both the owner of this sushi store are oldster. Male as chef meanwhile Female as waiter. ugh jeez, their sushi and green tea are 10/10! can't told you it's name because I can't read Japanese): besides eating, we also talked with four people who are also a customer in that store. one is British meanwhile another three people are Japanese but they can speak English fluently.

MOS Burger

and this, the main reason why we went to Yamanashi Perfecture.

the great Mount Fuji. From our Airbnb to Lake Kawaguchi to meet this Mountain approximately one hour which already include time in train, bus and walk. if I would say, I prefer you guys to choose red line while taking bus in Lake Kawaguchi, because the view you will get is way better! too bad we have limited time thus we choose green line. but so far I am satisfied with this picture and what I saw. Thanks God it aint cloudy so it looks perfectly perfect!
I don't even have so edit this picture, it is totally raw picture from my camera.

gears: FujiFilm XT-100 and iPhone 5SE

so it's a wrap on Yamanashi post, since I went there only in a short time so I couldn't write so much about it. but if you have any question about Yamanashi and Shizouka, I would like to help answering your question. see you on my upcoming post about Kyoto, a city with tons of drama!

ROAD TRIP #2

hey mates! I just had my-three-day-vacation in Berastagi so this is the higher land of North Sumatra and there are several mountains here. since in town, the weather is super hot so this is the right time to go to  Berastagi. we stayed in Sinabung Hill bytheway, you guys can google it up and its highly recommended because it has good service, nice view, many pine trees and large field. it is a must if you come here, you should go to Lake Toba. it is the greatest Lake alright so you can imagine how great the view is! ( I'll let you see how it looks like ). if possible, you can go across by boat and arrive in Samosir Island [ click on this link to see my road trip to Samosir : ROAD TRIP #1 ].
personally not-that-far tho because its only 1,5 until 2 hours from Medan. oh! dont forget to see  Sipiso- Piso Waterfall and their traditional market where they sell lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. you can also ride the horse as well tho. I think its enough about information where I went while in Berastagi so now its time for uploading photos.

ROAD TRIP #1

oh hey mates! see you again in this post. i just had my first road trip and it was amazing!! well, although im still sad that mum and dad ain't allow me go to David Guetta Concert in Philippines #SAD. anyway, last week i have a four-day-trip to the MOUNTAIN! i always love mountain instead of beach, because it is cold and i couldn't describe how beautiful mountain is. by the way, these four days not entirely about chilling in mountain. Day one i went to his mum house far in Tebing Tinggi, i stayed there for one night. In Tebing, there is more calm compare to where i live because most of the land is for farming and to make thing clear his mum business is rice. well, my day in there is quite fun actually but i think i embarrassed myself in most of the time because im not good at cooking so yeah.. you get it ( but i do try hard to cook nowadays, i really do ) and oh one more, everybody knows i am so "lemot" in Indonesia. okay, "lemot" is like umm.. i need time to digest what people say and most of the time it needs +/- 2 minutes, which is long. i know. Day two until day four, we went to Samosir Island by motorcycle. people called us insane because it needed about two or three hours to get there but it kinda fun tho. before arrived in Samosir Island, we need to pass several small town and when we arrived in Perapat, we use small ship to cross. since this is my first time go to Samosir Island, i don't know that the weather is so cold, like seriously! . there are not many vehicle, so most people just walk. after a long walk, finally we went to one restaurant which sells pork. afterwards we had our dinner. okay this is basically the most tighten day i ever had because he introduced me to all of his family members!! starts from granny until all of his untie, uncle and cousins ( both his mum and dad side ). i almost pee on my pants because basically im an introvert gurl with people i just know, so you know... all the awkward things are happens to me! after out from his granny's home and we were about to back to his mum's but before that we took lots of photos together and strolling all around the Island. i can't wait to show you guys how beautiful it is!!

how beautiful it is!

see, it is beautiful isn't it? i am lost of words when i saw this kind of view with my bare eyes!

stay tuned for my upcoming post because im going to post something colorful there
