FIRST TIME IN HONG KONG.

Guess who is being super productive in Q1 of 2024? Yap, that's me! Haaha 🙋🏻‍♀️

So in this post, I'll update one of my highlight trips in 2023, which is when I went to Hong Kong. Okay, so Hong Kong has been on my bucket list for like 4 years, and finally I checked it. It feels so good, ngl.

The reason I wait that long is because it takes a huge budget to go to Hong Kong (I feel going to Japan is cheaper!). Luckily, Cathay Pacific has a great deal in 2023, which is Buy 1 Get 2, so I booked it ASAP with my friend. Like literally everything is settled in less than 24 hours. 

Okay, enough with the introduction, and let's jump to the fun part!

Went to The Peak for this view!

Hong Kong. For someone who likes metropolitan vibes with historical buildings, I love Hong Kong very much. Not to mention their foods. Oh, my heart melts! But it's very expensive, though. As a comparison, with IDR 500K in Japan, I can get a comfy room that can fit two cabin bags and two big bags. In Hong Kong, with IDR 800K, only 1 cabin luggage and 2 big luggages with a small bed can fit 2 petite girls. I was shocked at first, but luckily the drain in the toilet is clogged, so we got an upgraded room!

If you're on budget, I recommend Yesinn Yau Ma Tei!

Another lucky moment was when I was in HK Disneyland, so I didn't buy a pass to enter World of Frozen, but they let me in for free! Of course, I won't take this for granted, so I enjoy every ride. Highly recommended World of Frozen too. Not only the beautiful atmosphere, but also a bit chilly in there! F-U-N.

 

Lastly, I want to highlight my visit to the HKMOA. If you enjoy the mixture of contemporary and traditional China, then you should visit HKMOA. 

In all, I really enjoyed my 4-day trip to Hong Kong. If you ask me whether I want to revisit, Of course I want! Hahah! But definitely, my next Hong Kong trip is no longer a budget trip.✨
